Most hair ties get their stretch from synthetic elastic. These combine organic cotton with natural tree rubber instead, so they're soft on your hair but still hold securely through a busy day at work, at school or at the gym.
The mini size suits finer hair, children's hair, braid ends and half-up styles, anywhere a full-size tie would be too bulky or would need wrapping round too many times.
Because they're made from plant-based materials, they will wear over time, and that's by design: they're made to be durable and strong, but they're not built to last forever the way plastic is. A little care keeps them going for longer.
How to use
Use as you would any hair tie. To keep them going for longer, avoid stretching them while wet, keep them out of direct sunlight, and don't let oils and hair products sit on them. Wash with similar colours on a cold wash and lay flat to dry.
