Customer support information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, email address, order details, and the content of any correspondence with us.

  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support, answer your queries, and process returns, exchanges and refunds.

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with the service providers described below where necessary to respond to you.

Minors

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfil our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We use a number of third-party service providers who process Personal Information on our behalf, as processors, under data processing agreements and only on our instructions. These include: Klaviyo (email marketing), Xero (accounting and invoicing), DPD (delivery and logistics), Reviews.io (customer reviews), and Google (website analytics).

  • We use AI-powered tools, including services provided by OpenAI and Anthropic, to assist with day-to-day business operations such as customer service, order administration, logistics, and business analysis. We have opted out of the use of our data to train these providers' AI models. We do not use these tools to make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or that similarly significantly affect you.

  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.


We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Using Personal Information

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in to receive them, and every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

Lawful basis

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), we process your Personal Information under the following lawful bases:

Retention

We retain your Personal Information for as long as needed to provide our services to you and to comply with our legal obligations. Order and transaction records are retained for a minimum of six years after the end of the financial year to which they relate, as required under Irish tax and company law. We periodically review the Personal Information we hold and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Automated decision-making

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling), when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.

  • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.

Your rights

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your Personal Information be corrected, updated, or erased. You also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing, including the right to object at any time to the use of your Personal Information for direct marketing. Your Personal Information is processed in Ireland and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to Canada and the United States, by our service providers.
