Citric Acid is a food-grade weak natural acid known for its descaling properties and rust-removing action. It is an extremely versatile and useful household cleaning product particularly due to its limescale removing powers. It contains no harmful chemicals or additives and can also be used as a natural PH Balancer.

Guidelines for use:

Descaling: Dilute 1 or 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1 litre of cold water to descale coffee machines, kettles, cups, taps, showerheads, and more. Rinse with clear water afterwards.
Descale Washing Machines: Put 6 to 8 tablespoons of citric acid in the washing machine drum and run a hot cycle (90°C) to remove limescale.
Toilet Bowl Cleaner: Pour half the bag of citric acid into your toilet and leave overnight for a sparkling clean bowl.
General Household Cleaning: Use citric acid as a vinegar alternative for cleaning throughout your home.
