Put one in a drawer or the hot press and the clothes and linen in there pick up a fresh scent, or hang one in the wardrobe. Just keep it from sitting directly on the fabric. It's small enough for a gym bag or the glovebox too.

Lemongrass & Cedarwood is The Handmade Soap Company's best-known scent: zesty and bright at first, then warm and woody. A sachet is an easy way to bring it into places where you'd never light a candle, like the linen cupboard, a wardrobe or a holiday suitcase.

It's also a nice extra to tuck into a gift alongside a candle or hand cream from the same range.

How to use

Remove the cellophane wrapping, then place the sachet in a drawer or hang it in your wardrobe. Don't open the sachet. Keep it away from polished, painted or delicate surfaces and out of direct contact with fabric.

About the Maker

The Handmade Soap Company is run by husband and wife Donagh and Gemma Quigley from a restored mill in Slane, Co. Meath. They started in 2010 with two pots and a soap mould, and they still make and fill everything themselves. They're a certified B Corp, and Lemongrass & Cedarwood is the scent most people know them for.
