Put the soap by the sink, the lotion beside it and the hand cream in a bag or coat pocket. Three small things that get used every day, all in the one scent, and worth €46 if you bought them separately.

Donagh, the founder, based the scent on his back garden, where a big lemon balm plant grows among silver birch trees that are forever shedding their bark.

How to use

Soap: lather under warm water and rinse.
Hand lotion: pump into your palms and massage into clean hands.
Hand cream: apply to dry hands, working it into wrists and cuticles.

About the Maker

The Handmade Soap Company is run by husband and wife Donagh and Gemma Quigley from a restored mill in Slane, Co. Meath. They started in 2010 with two pots and a soap mould, and they still make and fill everything themselves. They're a certified B Corp, and Lemongrass & Cedarwood is the scent most people know them for.
