A hand wash with a warm, earthy scent: coriander seed and geranium over a base of vetiver. One pump makes a proper lather.

It leaves hands soft and nourished rather than tight. The scent is Donagh's take on a summer sunset in the walled garden at Tullynally Castle: warm and calming rather than sweet.

When the bottle runs low, top it up from the matching 500ml refill pouch and keep the pump going. The pouch is made to a slightly different recipe from the bottle, so check its ingredients if that matters to you.

It's made for hard-working and sensitive hands alike, so it earns its place at the kitchen sink as well as in the bathroom. It's free from parabens and SLS, and one pump is all you need each time.

How to use

Pump once into your hand and massage into a lather. Rinse well. Follow with the matching hand lotion if your hands are dry.

About the Maker

The Handmade Soap Company is run by husband and wife Donagh and Gemma Quigley from a restored mill in Slane, Co. Meath. They started in 2010 with two pots and a soap mould, and they still make and fill everything themselves. They're a certified B Corp, and Lemongrass & Cedarwood is the scent most people know them for.
