Donagh based the scent on a lemon balm plant growing among silver birch trees in his back garden. A generous gift for a new home, or for anyone who already loves this scent.

How to use
Candle: trim the wick to about 0.5cm before lighting. On the first burn, let the melted wax reach the edge of the glass. Burn for no more than 2 hours at a time.
Diffuser: put the reeds in the bottle. After a few minutes, turn them over so the soaked ends are at the top. Turn them again whenever you want a stronger scent. Keep away from direct sun and heat.

About the Maker
The Handmade Soap Company is run by husband and wife Donagh and Gemma Quigley from a restored mill in Slane, Co. Meath. They started in 2010 with two pots and a soap mould, and they still make and fill everything themselves. They're a certified B Corp, and Lemongrass & Cedarwood is the scent most people know them for.
