how it works.
- Book your collection. Tell us how many cylinders you're returning, which days suit and where to collect from. You can book a collection on its own or add it to a gas order.
- Pack and label your box. Pack 2 to 12 cylinders in each box, so 13 to 24 cylinders need two boxes. We'll email you a return label straight after you order. Print it and attach it securely to the box.
- DPD collects. We'll email your collection date and DPD reference, usually by the next working morning. Have your box ready from 8am on the day.
- Get your credit. We'll usually email your €10 credit for each accepted cylinder within 3 working days of your collection.
packing your box.
- Pack between 2 and 12 cylinders in each box. 13 to 24 cylinders need two boxes.
- Each box you send must be one single, sturdy box. If you have smaller boxes, put them securely inside a larger box.
- Pack the cylinders so they can't move or roll, and cover any old labels or barcodes.
- Only send the number of boxes you've booked. DPD charges us for every box.
- We can't accept damaged cylinders. We'll send any damaged cylinders for recycling, but no credit is payable on them.
your collection day.
- Have your box ready from 8am. Most collections happen between 9am and 6pm, and a set time can't be chosen.
- DPD drivers don't usually phone ahead. If you might be out, give us a safe place when you book. Drivers won't collect a box left outside unless you've given us a safe place, even if it's easy to see. Leaving your box in a safe place is at your own risk.
- Your collection won't always happen on the same day as your gas delivery. DPD runs collections and deliveries on separate routes.
your credit.
- You get €10 credit for each accepted cylinder, emailed as a code, usually within 3 working days of your collection.
- The code is valid for 12 months on CO2 cylinders and is used in one transaction. If you'd like it split into smaller amounts, just ask.
- If it hasn't arrived, check your spam folder.
common questions.
Which cylinders do you accept?
- Any brand of standard 425g / 60L CO2 cylinder: screw-in, click-in or Quooker.
- You don't need to have bought them from us.
I don't have a printer. Can I still send them back?
- Please print the label if you can, as it helps us process your return quickly.
- If you can't print the label, that's no problem. Instead, write your name and order number clearly on the box and the DPD driver will add their own label.
