Fragrance ingredients explained
This product contains a blend of fragrance notes created to give it its distinctive scent. Some of these are nature-inspired ingredients that are made in a lab to ensure consistency and safety.
- Tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes add a musky, woody base note that gives the fragrance depth and warmth.
- 3,4,5,6,6-Pentamethylhept-3-En-2-One (and isomers) brings a sweet, fruity tone that complements fig-like notes.
- Cyclamen Aldehyde is a fresh, clean floral note with watery green undertones.
- Hydroxycitronellal contributes a soft, jasmine-like floral character.
- Linalool is a naturally occurring floral scent with lavender and citrus tones.
These ingredients are commonly used in perfumes, candles and home fragrance. They are classed as safe under EU fragrance regulations, though, like any perfume ingredient, a small number of people with very sensitive skin may find them irritating if applied directly.
Safety
Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Keep it away from flames, sparks and hot surfaces, and never spray it towards a lit candle or an open fire. Store it away from heat and out of reach of children.
May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effect, so avoid release into the environment. Spray upwards into the middle of the room rather than at furnishings, and avoid contact with the eyes and skin. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses and continue rinsing. If skin irritation or a rash occurs, seek medical attention.
