Fragrance ingredients explained
This product contains a blend of fragrance notes created to give it its distinctive scent. Some of these are nature-inspired ingredients that are made in a lab to ensure consistency and safety.
- Isoeugenol brings a soft, spicy clove-like note with warmth and depth.
- Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone adds a powdery violet scent with a hint of woodiness.
- Citronellol is a naturally occurring floral note with rose and citrus tones.
- Cyclamen Aldehyde is a clean, watery floral note with fresh green undertones.
- Linalool is a floral, lavender-like note with a touch of citrus.
- Linalyl Acetate is fresh, fruity-floral with bergamot and lavender tones.
- Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes add a musky, woody base for warmth and staying power.
These ingredients are commonly used in perfumes, candles and home fragrance. They are classed as safe under EU fragrance regulations, though, like any perfume ingredient, a small number of people with very sensitive skin may find them irritating if applied directly.
Safety
Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Keep it away from flames, sparks and hot surfaces, and never spray it towards a lit candle or an open fire. Store it away from heat and out of reach of children.
May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effect, so avoid release into the environment. Spray upwards into the middle of the room rather than at furnishings, and avoid contact with the eyes and skin. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses and continue rinsing. If skin irritation or a rash occurs, seek medical attention.
