Think freshly laundered cotton with a soft floral undertone. Cotton, almond and rose open it, freesia, violet and tonka sit in the middle, and sandalwood, musk and amber settle underneath. Not sickly sweet, not overpowering, just a gentle scent that works in any room.
Hand wash is mostly water, so there's not much sense in buying it in a new plastic bottle every time. Keep your neat. bottle and pump, and top it up with a refill that weighs next to nothing. One refill lasts a typical household about a month.
How to use
Shake the refill first. Pour 270ml of tap water into your empty neat. foaming hand wash bottle, add the whole refill, put the pump back on and shake well. Don't use the concentrate undiluted, and don't swallow it. Avoid contact with eyes; if this happens, rinse with water. Use within 6 months once mixed; the concentrate keeps for 24 months.
For hard water areas, soak the pump in warm water with a drop of lemon juice now and then.
Need a bottle? The neat. Refillable Foaming Hand Wash Dispenser is in our shop too.

Why We Love This Brand
We love the neat. idea: stop shipping water around in single-use plastic. Irishman Ryan McSorley and Josie Harfield started neat. in 2020, having worked out that around 90% of a typical cleaning product is water. So neat. send you just the concentrate, in a small glass vial with an aluminium cap, and you add the tap water at home. Their bottles are made from recycled aluminium and built to be kept, and the scents are the sort we're more used to finding in candles and diffusers than under the sink. neat. is a certified B Corp, and the refills are made in the UK.
