Beards dry out, and so does the skin under them. A few drops worked right down to the skin each day looks after both.
Jojoba is the oil to know here. It's close to the skin's own oils, so it softens coarse hair and conditions the skin underneath without leaving the beard greasy. Sunflower and safflower oils are light and sink in well, and vitamin E rounds out the blend.
The scent is woody and herbal rather than a heavy aftershave. Rosemary and cedarwood give it its character, with a lift of bergamot on top.
It suits any length of beard, from a few days' stubble to a full one, and it's a good place to start if you have just begun growing one and the skin underneath feels itchy or dry.
How to use
Apply a few drops into the palm. Using your fingertips, gently massage into the beard and the skin beneath.
It works best on a clean beard after a shower. Start with two or three drops for a short beard and add more as it grows.
