The scent is calming and uplifting at the same time. It contains silk, so it isn't vegan.
The silk gives the lather a smooth, silky feel, and the sweet almond and shea butter keep it creamy, so your skin feels soft after you rinse. Lavender and lemon are a classic pairing: the lavender is soothing, and the lemon keeps it bright and fresh.
It's a solid bar, so there's no plastic bottle to finish and throw away, and it's easy to pack in a wash bag for travel. If your skin is sensitive to essential oils, patch test it first.
How to use
Wet the bar and work it into a lather with your hands, a cloth or a sponge. Massage over your skin and rinse well.
Let it dry fully between uses, on a draining soap dish away from running water, and it will last much longer.

Janni Bars is Janni Sjöstrand, originally from Sweden and now based in Drumlish, County Longford. It began with a simple search for a truly natural, plastic-free shampoo bar for horses. She couldn't find one, so she made it herself, and the range grew from there, still in minimal, plastic-free packaging. Janni believes natural doesn't have to mean boring, so you'll find flowers, clays and colour in her bars.
