Good for stockings, Kris Kindle, teachers and anyone you'd like to give a little something to. Cold weather and lots of hand washing are hard on hands, so it'll be put to good use.

The cream is rich but sinks in fast, so hands feel soft rather than greasy, and it suits all skin types. The scent is The Handmade Soap Company's best known: Donagh based it on his back garden, where a big lemon balm plant grows among silver birch trees.

Once the tree comes down, the hand cream is small enough to keep in a handbag, desk drawer or travel bag, so it keeps going well into the new year. The box is made from FSC certified card.

Apply whenever hands feel dry, any time of the day. Massage into knuckles and cuticles, and top up after washing your hands.

About the Maker

The Handmade Soap Company is run by husband and wife Donagh and Gemma Quigley from a restored mill in Slane, Co. Meath. They started in 2010 with two pots and a soap mould, and they still make and fill everything themselves. They're a certified B Corp, and Lemongrass & Cedarwood is the scent most people know them for.
