We are so excited to tell you about what we're doing to celebrate PRIDE this year.
We're on a mission to brighten up your summer and raise much needed funds for an amazing charity called BelongTo that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer young people in Ireland.
We've teamed up with Kotanical to produce a limited edition PRIDE essential oil blend and for every bottle sold we are donating €5 to BelongTo to help fund their frontline services for young people.
Kotanical is the first company in Ireland to distill essential oils from natural native sources. Founder and master blender Karl Murray works with farmers and growers to produce Ireland’s first and only home-grown essential oils. Any essential oils that can’t be produced in Ireland are 100% organic, ethically sourced, vegan and cruelty-free.
Karl has been a legend since we floated this idea with him and has really outdone himself with this one. This bright and uplifting oil is summer in a bottle and evokes the spirit of PRIDE with its blend of bright citrus notes including grapefruit, wild orange, lime and a dash of lemongrass.

Available with an English or Irish label - PRIDE or BRÓD - this proud little bottle features the inclusive Pride flag to represent everyone in the LGBTQI+ community.
Give young people a helping hand
One half of Faerly, Eoin, has a day job working a career guidance counsellor in secondary school and this is an area very close to his heart.
"It's tough at any time navigating life as a teenager and even more so when we're living through a pandemic. But teenage life can be especially hard if you're struggling with gender identity or being bullied because of your sexuality."
BelongTo Youth Services work directly with LGBTQI+ young people in Ireland, between 14 and 23 years, to create a world where they are equal, safe and valued for the diversity of their identities and experiences.
Demand for BelongTo’s frontline services increased by 113% last year with 93% of LGBTI+ youth struggling with anxiety, stress, or depression during Covid-19, compared to 53% of the general youth population.
As well as campaigning for and advocating on behalf of young LGBTI+ people, BelongTo offers a specialised LGBTI+ youth service with a focus on mental and sexual health.
One of BelongTo's biggest campaigns every year is the national Stand Up Awareness Week when they work with schools all over Ireland to take a stand against against bullying - both in school and online.
Fundraising activities have been hit hard by the pandemic and BelongTo could really use the helping hand so they can continue to fund their essential work.
